ITS grape harvest time in Central Europe, time to taste the new wine, the sweet muscatel, which is exactly what we did at the Budafok Wine Festival on the southern edge of Budapest last Saturday. But, even better than the wine was the rich, smoky taste of the calf roasted on a spit.
